Silver Cachaça

Cachaça (kah-SHA-sah) is Brazil’s national spirit made from fresh-pressed sugarcane juice. Novo Fogo Organic Silver Cachaça is pot-distilled from estate sugarcane and rested for one year at our zero-waste distillery in Brazil's Atlantic Rainforest. The aroma of bananas is present from the first whiff, followed by passion fruit and lime blossom notes that shine through the spirit, giving it a pleasant floral quality. Sea salt balances the tropicality of the spirit, adding a savory quality and settling the overall impression to a mouth-watering sweet red pepper.

SUGGESTED COCKTAIL: CAIPIRINHA

2 oz Novo Fogo Silver Cachaça 
Half a lime, sliced
1 tbsp ultra fine sugar

Muddle the lime and sugar in a shaker until all the juice is expressed. Add cachaça and ice, shake, and dump everything into a rocks glass.
